Whether you are new to retriever training or have been training them your whole life, there are a lot of benefits in having a training group to help you train. We do this by each doing our part to assist each other either by tossing bumpers, setting up true to life hunting scenarios or offering help, guidance and tips.

Periodically the club holds hunt tests during the year as do other like clubs in our region. We ask that our membership volunteer at these events as needed even for just a short while. These events test the retriever in marking, control, style and obedience to let people know where their retriever stands in their current training. Generally, these are not competitions. Dogs are judged against a standard instead of dog vs. dog.

We are only able to hold these events because members volunteer their time to help, so we hope you will too. At other clubs tests around the region we are then able to have a weekend of fun and relaxation while they put on a test for us. These tests and fund raisers bring in needed money to help the club buy new equipment and schedule training seminars for our members benefit.

MWRC Membership Renewals $25/year
Renews your membership for an additional year. If you have an HRC membership, HRC national will send you a renewal notice in the mail. The club does not renew your HRC membership, so just checkmark the $25 membership renewal button.

MWRC Family Membership $25/year
Includes a full family membership in MWRC, use of club equipment, help from experienced members and trainers, organized training sessions, HRC hunt tests sponsored by MWRC, as well as the opportunity to meet people with similar interests. Renewals are due by April 01 of each year and continue thru March 31 of the following year. Applications received after August 1st will be considered payment for the following year’s membership.

MWRC Membership and HRC National Individual Membership $50/year
Full membership includes a full membership in MWRC and individual HRC Membership( Hunting Retriever Club)which includes a bi-monthly subscription to Hunting Retriever Magazine.

MWRC Membership and HRC National Family Membership $55/year
MWRC Full Family Memberships include all of the above but also includes all immediate family members in HRC as well.
